工程造價/工料測量師職責
作為工科與商科的結合，工料測量不需要學生有豐富的工程背景，只要求學生掌握建築的基本知識，對數字敏感，使其能夠對整個建築項目所需要用到的資源，進行成本計算和統籌管理。工料測量師從投標準備、項目建造到最終完成的整個過程中的成本預算和監控。
* 對工程進行估算(包括成本及所需時間)；
* 擬定所需材料及相關材料的招標文件；
* 監督及評估工程的施工進度；
* 為發展商、承包商、建築師、融資公司等提供諮詢；
* 到工地巡視工程進展、督導建築材料的應用和撰寫巡視報告
如何成為合資格工料測量師 澳洲註冊工料測量師: 完成受AIQS認可的相關課程
香港註冊工料測量師: 第一步︰須修讀受AIQS認可之課程 第二步︰在職專業工作實習 (不少於440工作天)以及延續專業知識發展進修 (不少於40小時) 第三步︰須通過兩次相關的面試。第一次考試內容是實戰測量考核、簡報和問答環節，而第二次面試是考核考生的專業能力、專業操守及對測量專業的廣泛認知度。 以上將由HKIS作審查及議決
